Saturday Projects

Writer's picture: Abigail AnnAbigail Ann

No matter how many paintings I've finished, a blank white piece of paper is just as exciting as it is intimidating. Especially when it's an 18x24", like this one. A friend bought me this watercolor paper for Christmas and there are only 12 pieces. Every time I wanted to use it, I got too caught up, worrying I would ruin it. So much so that it ended up collecting dust under my bed for 2 years! Today felt different though. I thought, so what? Maybe I make something awful and waste a piece of the paper. What's the worst that could happen?

Moral of the story? Just do the damn thing.
